William Hayes was your average Joe surgeon before he was
embraced by the Malkovian, Hugo Ferenstein. A skilled practitioner
of
surgery and autopsies, William was looking at the corpse of a burn
victim
one night. It came as quite a shock
to him and the surgeon looking at
the
corpse with him, when the corpse leapt up and disembowelled William's
assistant
before turning and abducting the poor doctor. In a hidden
area of
the hospital, which was one of the ones in Chicago,
William was
embraced by
Hugo and inducted into the Danse Macabre. William now plays the role of
the
surgeon
that always works the night shift and he has helped the more
influential kindred of Chicago with murder cases which are
suspected of
being supernatural in origin. William is not of average blood potency
and
considering that he has
only been a vampire for 24 years, it is
speculated
that diablerie might have something to do with his potent blood
and his
cold, creepy persona enforces those suspicions all the more
